The central figure in this painting is Jesus Christ as he is hanging on the Cross.  Twin serpents face each other as they wrap themselves around the wood.  A large golden Mask hangs from the cross.  Held within it are souls looking for a religious belief of spiritual safety.  This is a religion with very strong rules and gifts of forgiveness. 

The Pope and the Patriarch of Constantinople are shown floating upside down. 

The red background will be present in each painting of this series.  Within it will be different images/diagrams/energies represented w oil pastels & inks.
