"Requiem For Jerry"

| COMMISSION: Owens Brown Interfaith Center, Columbia, MD A three stone public art environment sculpture commissioned by Dr. Karen Adams to commemorate her husband Jerry Adams' life. The large standing stone has a niche carved into it and is sited so that it faces the setting sun. A large bench stone is fitted into the standing stone and the third seat stone has a bronze commemorative plaque in it. This area is well used by all ages of the community and the sculpture was created to address these needs. The entire environment area is 15. x 20. and is at the entrance of the Center. |
