“COLORS … woman IN BLUE“

NEW M.C.CAROLYN PAINTING TECHNIQUE:
ACRYLIC PAINTS, INKS ON BRISTOL BOARD AND ALCOHOL INKS ON ACETATE FILM

She is strong. The Woman in Blue stands waiting. It is up to the viewer to decide if she is offering sanctuary from our troubled world to the figures represented behind her or is she creating a wall of blue against our troubled world to keep safe the small figure pressing against her side inside the blue wrap and herself.

Jacquard Piñata Alcohol Inks, built color onto color, creates the Woman. Her blue wrap is acrylic blue. The many people behind the Woman in Blue are ink line drawings on a background of acrylic paints and craypaux (oil pastels).
